MetaMask has launched an early access program to Agent Wallet, a non-cascading wallet designed to interact with decentralized applications through offline AI agents. The solution combines smart account and artificial intelligence technologies, allowing you to automate swaps, work with perpetual contracts, predictive markets, and LP positions in EVM networks and Hyperliquid. User retains full control over private keys, can export a SI phrase and gives the agent limits and rules of behavior before starting.

Security is provided at multiple levels: keys are stored in a trusted execution environment, and transactions are simulated and threat scanned via Blockaid. Smart Transactions protects against MEV attacks, and suspicious transactions require confirmation via 2FA. For transactions deemed safe, the Transaction Protection option provides coverage up to $10,000 per month. There are two modes available to users: standard Guard Mode with mandatory confirmation of operations outside the established limits and subscribed Beast Mode with minimal interruptions but basic checks.

The public launch of Agent Wallet is scheduled for summer 2026. As long as access is only available to early program members. The initiative confirms a trend that former CEO Binance Changpeng Zhao has previously pointed out: the crypto industry is entering an era of AI agents capable of conducting oncheen operations on their own. MetaMask bets that users will want to delegate routine tasks to algorithms - but without compromise on asset control.
