MrBeast Files Trademark Applications for Cryptocurrency Exchange and Banking

Beast Holdings, associated with popular content creator MrBeast (real name Jimmy Donaldson), has filed two trademark applications in the US – MRBEAST FINANCIAL and BEAST FINANCIAL. The applications pertain to cryptocurrency trading, payment processing, decentralized exchange (DEX) services, and banking products.

The applications were filed on October 13, 2025, published for opposition on August 11, 2026, and received notices of allowance from the US Patent and Trademark Office on October 6, 2026. Both are not yet registered: they are filed based on intent to use and are pending, with no registration numbers assigned. The applicant is Beast Holdings LLC from Greenville, North Carolina, represented by Ryan Matthew Kaiser of Amin Wasserman Gurnani LLP.

The applications cover three classes: 009 (downloadable software), 036 (financial services), and 042 (services via online platforms). In class 036, cryptocurrency payment processing, cryptocurrency exchanges, and financial exchange services via DEX are specified. Notably, the description outlines exchange activities but does not specify any blockchain, token, trading platform, or liquidity provider. In class 009, mobile applications with banking, cryptocurrency exchange, investment management, financial planning, insurance, and consumer lending, including short-term advances and financial education, are included. Also included are online banking, small loans, issuance and processing of credit and debit cards, savings programs tied to debit cards, as well as investment advisory, investment banking services, asset management, and financial data analysis. Class 042 covers platforms for banking, investment management, and financial consulting. The applications are almost identical, but investment banking services are specified only in MRBEAST FINANCIAL. When and through which platform the services might launch is not specified.

To complete the registration, Beast Holdings must prove commercial use of the names by April 6, 2027, with the possibility of extension. There is no confirmation of regulatory approvals for exchange or banking services in the applications.
