Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang has made an optimistic prediction about the impact of artificial intelligence on the labor market. In his view, AI would not destroy jobs, but create huge numbers of them, because the deployment of the relevant infrastructure is only at an early stage. Huang has called AI "a basic infrastructure like electricity and the Internet," and data center construction, chip production, and server assembly "the largest infrastructure project in history."

The head of Nvidia noted that several hundred billion dollars have been invested so far, but the total amount of investment required is measured in trillions. The AI ecosystem was described by Huang as a "five-layer pie", incorporating power supply, semiconductors, physical objects, algorithms, and finite services. He particularly emphasized that the operation of data centers requires participation of electricians, plumbers, metal construction installers and network engineers - highly skilled specialists whose shortage is now felt especially acutely.

Huang emphasized that much of the necessary infrastructure had not yet been established, and many future workers had not yet received training.
