Nvidia has disclosed ownership of nearly 123 million SpaceX shares, worth approximately $21 billion, as of the end of June 2026. These data appear in Nvidia’s official filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission amid closer cooperation between the companies in the field of artificial intelligence. Recently, SpaceX announced that it has designated Nvidia as its exclusive provider of computing power to equip its own data centers. During the first public report after the initial public offering, Elon Musk stated that the company had decided to place its full trust in the technologies of this chip manufacturer. At the same time, after SpaceX’s stock price fell since its June stock market debut, the value of Nvidia’s stake dropped to approximately seventeen billion dollars.

In parallel, SpaceX entered into large‑scale deals to supply computing power for artificial intelligence tasks. In particular, Anthropic agreed to pay nearly forty‑five billion dollars over three years for access to the infrastructure, and Google signed a contract for nine hundred and twenty million dollars per month for the rental of capacity, including one hundred and ten thousand graphics processors. The investment in SpaceX is part of Nvidia’s broader strategy, which uses financial resources to expand its own ecosystem. Over the past two years, the chip manufacturer has invested more than one hundred billion dollars in various projects, including the cloud infrastructure provider CoreWeave and the startup Cursor, which was acquired by SpaceX itself this week for sixty billion dollars. Furthermore, Nvidia plans to raise more than five hundred billion dollars from a consortium of large investors to finance its customers.

For SpaceX itself, the initial public offering was one of the largest exits of a technology company onto the public market, enabling it to raise significant capital and provide profits to early investors. For example, Google owns approximately seven percent of SpaceX, having invested nine hundred million dollars back in 2015, and in July it estimated its stake at approximately ninety‑four billion dollars. At the same time, after the rapid growth in market capitalization at the start of trading, SpaceX shares experienced a significant correction. Previously, after going public, the company’s market value reached 2.64 trillion dollars, but later it dropped to 1.63 trillion dollars.
