OpenAI has launched a major update to ChatGPT, bringing the task scheduling feature to the fore. Previously hidden in the interface depth, it is now available through a separate "Scheduled" tab in the sidebar where all active pending requests are collected. Users can control them by pausing, editing, or deleting. The company has also improved the mechanism itself: tasks are now performed faster and more reliably, and in creation it is possible to indicate not only exact time but also wide intervals (morning, day, evening).

In addition to the one-time tasks, ChatGPT has support for monitoring scenarios. In this mode, the bot searches for information on the internet or connected apps according to defined criteria and notifies the user of the results. The new feature is available for paid subscriptions (Go, Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise) on all platforms.

In parallel with this update, OpenAI is rolling back the Pulse service that has been generating personalized daily updates since last year. Pro subscribers have 14 days left to use it, after which the company offers to use a new scheduling hub to create regular reports.
