Pi Network released Pi Desktop 0.6.4, PI price remains under selling pressure

In the last 24 hours, the price of Pi Network (PI) has decreased by 0.56%, with a weekly performance of −3.75%. The decline coincided with a general pullback in the altcoin market, which lost 2.11% over the week. Meanwhile, the Pi Network Core team announced the release of Pi Desktop version 0.6.4 and the completion of the upgrade to Protocol 28.
The main change in Pi Desktop 0.6.4 is the simplified remote access to SoloHost applications; the update also added additional security measures for SoloHost users. Protocol 28 improved the handling of delayed transaction data.
Despite the updates, PI continues to lag behind sellers. Previously, the token approached $0.082 – a local resistance zone. Recovery above this level was not expected due to the lack of sustained demand and bearish sentiment in the broader market. The first Ecosystem Summit in mid-November may change long-term investor sentiment positively, but for now, the longer-term trend remains in favor of sellers.
Swing points on the daily timeframe are $0.07 and $0.139. The level of $0.0986 near the psychological round resistance of $0.10 has been key since July. RSI is slowly declining towards the oversold zone and has remained below the neutral 50 since September; OBV is also declining, highlighting sustained selling.
The downward movement on October 14 formed a long lower wick on the 4-hour chart down to $0.074 – this demand zone is being tested again. Support on higher timeframes is slightly lower, in the range of 0.070–0.073. If buyers manage to turn the situation around, a rebound to $0.10 is possible; otherwise, the decline is likely to continue.
In the last six weeks, PI has decreased by 23.6% – from $0.0988 to $0.0758. The price structure and momentum remain bearish on all timeframes, and the swing low of $0.070 is the next level that will determine further movement on the higher timeframe.
