Santiment Platform Recorded 356,070 Active Accounts in XRP Ledger

Between August 10 and August 24, 2026, network activity on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) blockchain, supported by Ripple, demonstrated significant growth. According to data from the analytics platform Santiment, the number of active accounts on the network increased by more than 655%. If on August 10 this figure stood at 47,180 addresses, over the subsequent 14 days it grew by 308,890, reaching 356,070 active addresses.

This network activity dynamic coincided with a period of an upward trend in the digital assets market. Over the reporting week, the value of XRP increased by 46%, reaching $1.46 with the asset's total market capitalization at $91.6 billion. At the same time, the daily trading volume of the coin declined by 9.5%, amounting to $5.8 billion.

Worthy of separate attention is the growth in activity involving automated systems. According to data from the specialized platform t54, the XRP Ledger network recorded transactions involving 5,355.43 XRP coins that were processed with the help of AI agents. This figure is 38% higher than the comparable data recorded a month earlier, indicating the gradual integration of artificial intelligence technologies into payment and transactional processes within the ecosystem.

Alongside the growth in on-chain activity, a steady capital inflow into U.S. spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) backed by XRP has been observed. According to statistics from the aggregator SoSoValue, between July 1 and August 24, 2026, these financial products attracted $95.6 million in net inflows. Capital outflows from these funds were recorded during only one week throughout the entire specified period. As of August 24, the total net assets under management of XRP ETFs reached $1.44 billion.

Against the backdrop of high activity in XRP Ledger, similar processes have been recorded in other blockchain networks. In particular, the Cardano protocol demonstrated a 33% increase in network activity. Over the 24-hour period of August 20, this network processed 32,841 transactions with an average block creation time of 20.2 seconds. The totality of this data points to a general revival of transactional activity in the alternative blockchain platforms segment in late summer 2026.
