Ripple Lost Its Leading Position in Stablecoin Market Capitalization Growth

According to the latest market data, Ripple has lost its leadership in stablecoin capitalization growth, conceding the top position to Ethena. Currently, Ethena has added a significant $337.4 million to its total capitalization over the past 24 hours, allowing it to take the lead in the stablecoin capitalization growth segment. This is the result of Ethena's rapid growth, making it one of the most important players in this market segment. While Ripple previously held the leading position in the sector with an increase of $34.7 million, it has now fallen to second place, recording a capitalization increase of $39.6 million over the same 24-hour period. Experts note that Ethena's growth exceeded Ripple's by approximately 8.5 times, confirming the strong momentum of the newcomer in the market. This has shifted the focus in the stablecoin market and brought Ethena to the forefront.
Other stablecoin issuers also showed positive dynamics, although their gains were significantly smaller compared to Ethena and Ripple. For example, USDD added $13.9 million to its capitalization, and Paxos added $10.8 million. Meanwhile, Ondo showed a growth of $4.2 million, OpenStandard $3.2 million, and UnitedStables $3 million. Thus, there is a general positive trend in the stabilization and growth of stablecoin capitalization in the market. Overall, the latest figures show that the stablecoin market continues to develop, and competition among issuers is becoming more pronounced, which in turn may lead to new innovations and improvements in the stablecoin sector. It is important to note that Ethena's capitalization growth may attract additional interest from investors and users, further strengthening its position in the market.
Thus, this shift in leadership underscores the significance of dynamics in the stablecoin area and possible changes in market share distribution, which may affect the competitiveness of Ripple and other issuers in the future.
