Roblox has introduced a new tool called Build. This feature allows users to create simple games using text queries. It is enough to write a description, and artificial intelligence will generate a basic version of the project. For example, you can ask to create a cozy adventure in a dense forest. The system will automatically prepare the environment, characters, and basic mechanics. The author will be able to easily refine the result and publish it for other players. The company's CEO, David Basuki, noted the importance of playing together in human culture. He stressed that this process existed long before the advent of civilization. The new tool is designed to simplify the creation of content in the ecosystem as much as possible.
The Build tool relies on a combination of open and proprietary company models. These neural networks are trained on a uniquely large set of three-dimensional models. They are specific specifically to game data and mechanics. The system is capable of generating functional objects and full-fledged scenes. All elements can be easily integrated into work projects through standard tools. The developers are responsible for the visual style, sound, and game rules. At the same time, the user does not need to leave the platform for editing. Testing of the new product will begin on July twenty-eighth. It will be available along with new AI tools inside the main Studio editor. It is unclear whether such games will be available on personal computers.
The company assures that the main page will not be filled with low-quality content. Recommendation systems give strict priority to games with high audience retention. The algorithms are specially designed to ignore the so-called AI garbage. If no one is playing the project, no one will find it. The goal of the innovation is to accelerate the creation of content for all levels of experience. In addition, Roblox has announced the launch of three more AI agents in the coming months. Among them will be an agent for automatic detection of software bugs. There will also be an assistant for experiments on increasing engagement and monetization of projects.
