Binance Co-Founder Changpeng Zhao Predicts Growth in Bitcoin's Market Capitalization

Changpeng Zhao, co-founder of the world's largest digital asset trading platform, has shared his forecasts regarding the prospects of the leading cryptocurrency. In his view, during the next phase of market growth, Bitcoin stands every chance of surpassing gold in total market capitalization. Currently, the market cap of the precious metal is approximately ten times greater than that of the digital currency. The entrepreneur noted that the narrowing of this gap will unfold against the backdrop of a gradual shift in the attitudes of investors and sovereign states toward reserve instruments. At the same time, Zhao emphasized that an instant transition will not occur, as the world's leading economies have already built comprehensive infrastructures for the valuation, storage, and circulation of gold.

Looking further ahead, the exchange founder admits a scenario in which national governments begin building up reserves of virtual currencies. Describing the structure of an ideal future sovereign reserve, Zhao suggested that more than half of its volume could be allocated to Bitcoin, while the remaining portion would be distributed between the Ethereum network and the native token of his own platform.

Touching on technological integration, the entrepreneur named stablecoins as the first link between the digital asset industry and artificial intelligence-based services. He expressed confidence that once stablecoin support is implemented, adding Bitcoin settlement capabilities will become an extremely straightforward technical task.

Zhao also paid particular attention to the impact of neural networks on financial markets. In his assessment, machine learning algorithms will have a faster and more pronounced effect on the sphere of exchange trading than on everyday retail payments. Market participants are required to analyze vast volumes of data, monitor the news flow, and react instantly to price fluctuations. Automating these processes with intelligent systems could increase the efficiency of speculative operations tenfold.

Changpeng Zhao's forecasts echo the assessments of other industry experts. Previously, Matt Cole, head of the American investment firm Strive, expressed the view that the upcoming phase of the upward trend could prove to be the most large-scale and powerful in Bitcoin's entire history. The accumulation of such statements reflects market participants' expectations regarding the further evolution of digital assets and their integration into the global financial and technological infrastructure.
