Terebenin the Psychologist: Generation of Sumers increasingly choose crypto industry over offices

Generation Z is increasingly considering the crypto industry as an alternative to traditional employment, against the backdrop of a shortage of promising vacancies in the regions, noted psychologist Yevgeny Terebenin. He noted that youth unemployment remains high, and the number of resumes is growing faster than the number of attractive positions. Under these conditions, digital markets are starting to look like a real opportunity to make money.

The Zumers, who grew up in a digital environment, are influenced by social media, where success stories about trading and blockchain projects regularly appear. High competition for traditional jobs and a shortage of "growth points" push them to seek alternative sources of income. Cryptocurrency is seen as a way to access the global market without having to move to major cities.

According to Tereben, for part of generation Z, the crypto industry is not just a fashionable hobby, but an attempt to compensate for the lack of career opportunities in the region. It’s not just about speculation, but also about participating in blockchain projects, creating digital products, and working with distributed teams.
