Strive, one of the ten largest public holders of bitcoin, has officially increased its corporate reserve to 20,000 coins, according to documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Between July 20 and 24, the organization purchased 79 bitcoins worth about $5.2 million, while the average purchase price, including commission costs, was $65,723 per asset unit. The current market valuation of this portfolio reaches approximately $1.3 billion. The main source of financing for this expansion is the issue of preferred perpetual SATA shares, the dividend yield on which was recently increased to 13 percent, which allows the company to systematically direct the raised capital to expand its cryptographic reserves.
The sequential accumulation strategy is implemented by the organization for four consecutive weeks. Since May, the company has integrated about 3,264 coins into its portfolio, some of which were purchased on the open market, and the other part was received as part of corporate transactions. It is noteworthy that one of the most significant transactions of the current year took place in May, when Strive acquired more than 2,500 bitcoins worth $ 185.2 million at an average price of $ 74,092. Subsequently, in June, the organization continued to increase its positions, adding 759 and 17.76 coins to the balance, respectively. As a result of these operations, the total volume of bitcoin reserves has increased by 3,780 units since the beginning of the year, and the quotes of SATA securities have increased by more than 10 percent over the past month.
According to the results of current acquisitions, Strive ranks seventh in the ranking of public companies in terms of corporate bitcoin reserves, ahead of structures such as SpaceX, but inferior to the Bullish platform, according to the Bitcoin Treasury analytical resource. This activity contrasts with the behavior of the largest corporate holder of the first cryptocurrency, Strategy, which suspended purchases of digital assets and recently repurchased its own preferred shares for the first time. This divergence of strategies highlights the diversity of institutional investors' approaches to digital asset management in the context of the changing macroeconomic environment and the volatility of the cryptocurrency market.
