BitMine Immersion Technologies, the largest public broadcaster, has replenished its reserves by another 27,084 ETH, spending around $43 million. The company now has 5.7 million coins at its disposal, which is 4.7% of the total Ethereum issuance. According to CEO Tom Lee, the company completed 94% of its ambitious plan to buy 5% of all airwaves in just 11 months.

Much of the savings - almost ETH 4.9 million - is already in a steakhouse at an average price of $1,569, which amounts to a total of $7.7 billion. Commenting on the recent 8% fall in the value of the ether, Lee called it a temporary phenomenon associated with the traditional rebalancing of investment portfolios at the end of the second quarter.

Despite short-term market weakness, Li remains optimistic, linking the future of Ethereum to the development of payments through AI agents and the adoption of crypto payments by large businesses. He also noted as positive signs the creation of Ethlabs and the Bank of England’s relaxation of its rhetoric on stablecoins. With funds pouring out of the spot Ethereum ETFs now in its seventh week, corporate players continue to buy: SharpLink, breaking an eight-month pause, has acquired another 39,196 ETH for $62.4 million.
