Cryptocurrency exchange HTX reported that the total trading volume of traditional financial (TradFi) assets in August 2026 exceeded $4 billion. This figure shows growth, as balances on the platform increased by 6.6% over the month, and the number of stocks available for trading rose to 210. This trend is observed against the backdrop of the celebration of the exchange's 13th anniversary, during which a campaign under the slogan “Reliability Proven Over Time” is taking place. From August 13 to September 13, users will be able to participate in various promotions and giveaways, with over 130,000 prizes already distributed.
In August, HTX added 56 new futures instruments, including 41 stocks and index products, as well as 15 cryptocurrencies. Overall, the platform now offers 210 stocks, including shares of American companies, global indices and ETFs, as well as companies from Japan and South Korea. On the spot market, HTX was the first to list the Chinese memecoin Niu Lai, which surged by 460% post-listing.
As part of the anniversary celebration, the platform launched a trading championship with a total prize pool of 800,000 USDT, in which over 40,000 traders participated by the end of August. The main competition consisted of three stages: a challenge, individual standings, and a team battle. During the championship, the volume of spot transactions exceeded 1.25 billion USDT, while futures transactions reached 4.17 billion USDT. At the same time, the HTX SmartEarn service announced a promotion with an increased rate of up to 11% per annum on deposits, thereby attracting more users to its products. In the first six months of 2026, the volume of spot and futures trading on the exchange exceeded $870.9 billion.
