AI Financial has officially sold its main operating division ALT5 Sigma Canada to Prime Delta. Under the terms of the deal, the seller received a secured promissory note for $12 million and 11.5 million restricted shares of the buyer. The sold Canadian division generated $23.5 million in revenue in 2025 with a net loss of $3.3 million, compared with $15.5 million in revenue a year earlier with a profit of $600,000. This is the second attempt to sell the asset: the previous deal with Perpetuals com in the amount of up to $ 15 million fell through in July.

AI Financial is closely linked to the crypto platform World Liberty Financial (WLFI), to which the Trump family is related. In August 2025, the company entered into a partnership agreement, under which it received WLFI tokens with a nominal value of about $ 1.5 billion. Eric Trump initially joined the board of directors, but was later demoted to an observer, and in May 2026 publicly denied his participation on the board. On the news of the partnership, AI Financial's shares exceeded the $8 mark several times, but then collapsed by more than 93% along with the WLFI exchange rate.

The financial situation of the company deteriorated sharply by 2026. In the first quarter, the loss from continuing operations amounted to $271.3 million. With $10.5 million in cash on accounts, operating expenses reach $12.3 million per quarter. The management openly expressed significant doubts about the ability to continue working. The paper loss on the WLFI portfolio exceeded $ 850 million, but it is impossible to record even a partial profit, since a significant part of the tokens remains blocked by restrictions on sale.
