The financial framework of this policy is being established by the Central Bank. The regulator approved the National Strategy for the Development of Financial Technologies for 2026–2030 to make the country the most attractive jurisdiction in Central Asia for fintech companies. A separate section of the document is dedicated to artificial intelligence: the Central Bank will determine priority areas for its application in finance, launch pilots, and utilize technology in supervision to detect crimes. Authorities expect to attract up to $1 billion in investments to the sector.
