Binance to Limit Services and Remove Tokens for Users in Brazil

Binance has announced plans to restrict eight cryptocurrency services and delist 22 tokens from trading in Brazil starting October 27, 2026, due to new central bank requirements. From October 27, users in Brazil will lose access to Binance Loans, cloud mining, margin trading, as well as Binance Pool, Launchpool, Megadrop, HODLer Airdrops, and Alpha 2.0. In October 2026, users will receive local payment accounts through Binance Brasil Corretora de Câmbio e Valores Mobiliários SA.

The tokens to be delisted include XVG, USDE, USTC, DCR, DUSK, PIVX, BB, MANTRA, ONE, GMT, TFUEL, ZIL, ONT, RVN, ACX, HIT, PYR, VANRY, VIC, ICX, SCRT, and STORJ. Current margin trading positions can remain open, but Binance will prohibit the creation of new orders and borrowing of funds. According to the new rules, international crypto transfers will require additional user data and transaction information starting November 1, 2026. Clients who do not agree to migrate to the new local structures will need to withdraw their assets and close accounts by October 27.

For users with outstanding loans through Binance's subsidiary in Abu Dhabi, a repayment-only mode will be established. This will allow borrowers to settle their positions without penalties, and any remaining amounts after repayment will be returned to their spot wallets. Binance will also submit monthly transaction reports to the Central Bank of Brazil. The licensing rules for crypto exchanges were set by the Central Bank of Brazil through resolutions 519, 520, and 521 in November 2025. These changes also affect taxation: sales of virtual assets not exceeding R$35,000 per month will be exempt from income tax.
