
BlackRock has significantly increased its Bitcoin holdings, adding a total of $1.57 billion in the past month. According to Arkham Intelligence, BlackRock purchased Bitcoin during most of the ETF trading sessions last month. The latest purchase amounted to $195.6 million, made in response to the recent recovery of Bitcoin's price, which has risen above $84,000. This indicates that the rally has sparked new interest from institutional investors. According to the data, BlackRock now holds 801,769 BTC, which is currently worth approximately $67.87 billion. Bitcoin constitutes the largest share of BlackRock's crypto portfolio, valued at $77.93 billion, making up over 87% of the total asset volume, while Ethereum follows with $10.06 billion from the overall crypto portfolio.
BlackRock's aggressive accumulation strategy regarding Bitcoin coincides with the growth of investments in their Bitcoin ETF, solidifying the company's position as one of the leading funds in the Bitcoin ETF market.
