BlackRock Acquired $1.08 Billion in Bitcoin in 20 Days

BlackRock continues to actively increase its Bitcoin holdings, purchasing approximately $1.08 billion over the past 20 days. These acquisitions have been made possible by the ongoing demand for the company's Bitcoin investment product, highlighting the growing interest from institutional investors in this digital asset. According to Arkham Intelligence, BlackRock made Bitcoin purchases during seven of the last month's ETF trading sessions, demonstrating their determination to strengthen their position in this market.

As of today, BlackRock holds an impressive volume of 785,900 BTC, equivalent to about $61 billion. Such figures indicate the significant influence of the company on the Bitcoin market, while alternative investment funds like Grayscale are facing a contrasting trend. Reports indicate that the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust experienced net outflows of $254.7 million during the same period, seemingly linked to unstable market conditions and growing investor distrust in its products.

The presence of such contrasts underscores BlackRock's dominant position, which, unlike Grayscale and other funds, consistently accumulates Bitcoin even amid market volatility. While Grayscale and other funds face increasing pressure from sellers, BlackRock continues to demonstrate decisive actions in the digital asset market. BlackRock's resolute approach to Bitcoin emphasizes its status as one of the largest holders of this asset, which, in turn, may influence the further development of investment strategies in digital assets among institutional players.
