In October, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a net outflow of $386.3 million. This followed an outflow of $484.9 million on Wednesday, marking the worst day since June, despite an inflow of $21.1 million on Friday. Ethereum ETFs extended their outflow streak to nine days, losing $635 million in October and nearly $700 million over the entire series. Solana ETFs also saw a monthly decline of $24.8 million after five consecutive days of outflows.
The month started with positive momentum: on October 1 and 2, Bitcoin ETFs attracted $292.6 million. However, an inflow of $118.8 million on October 6 could not offset the subsequent outflows. In total, funds lost $386.3 million in the first seven trading days of October. For comparison, in September, after the failed Clarity Act vote, Bitcoin ETFs had a nine-day inflow streak of about $3 billion, which returned the annual flows to positive territory. Cumulative inflows for Bitcoin ETFs since launch have reached $57.6 billion, with net assets totaling $100.6 billion.
Ethereum ETFs suffered more. On Friday, they lost $56.1 million, extending their outflow streak to nine consecutive trading days. The largest single-day outflow of $201.9 million occurred on October 6. Cumulative net inflows since launch amount to $13.2 billion, with net assets at $14.5 billion. Solana ETFs lost $3.8 million on Friday, marking the fifth consecutive day of outflows, with a total October decline of $24.8 million. The only inflow for the month was $1.3 million on October 2. Cumulative net inflows amount to $137.9 million.
