Google has launched a free AI for App Building course dedicated to vibecoding– an approach to creating software using natural language instructions for artificial intelligence. The program consists of three modules and is designed for approximately two hours of study. Participants will be able to take practical classes and create their own web application using Google AI Studio. The corporation has incorporated this approach into its AI professional training program, noting that with the help of vibecoding, users can create functional applications without having to write code manually.

The program begins with a short introductory module, where participants are taught the basics of vibe coding and agentic artificial intelligence. The second module is devoted to practicing with prompts: users learn to formulate instructions for creating future applications. The main block involves directly creating an application in Google AI Studio, working with files, and debugging the result. According to the developers’ plan, before creating an application, the user must analyze their own professional processes and identify the tasks for which an AI solution could be most useful. After that, the participant creates an application adapted to a specific work problem, tests it, and refines it using neural networks.

Google also emphasizes the need for responsible use of vibe coding and studying typical mistakes associated with this approach. After completing the program, users should learn to communicate with artificial intelligence in natural language to create functional code, identify promising scenarios for using AI in their own work, and create personalized applications. It should be recalled that Google previously concluded one of the largest deals in the market for computing power for artificial intelligence, agreeing to pay 920 million dollars per month for access to SpaceX’s computing infrastructure.
