Kantata has introduced Agent Studio – a tool that allows companies in the professional services sector to create AI agents for specific tasks by describing them in simple language. The release addresses a market issue: providers are releasing specialized agents by the dozens, and each becomes yet another isolated tool that needs to be maintained.
Kantata offers a single agent – the Expertise Agent, launched in June and dubbed the first AI super-agent for professional services. Agent Studio operates within the Expertise Engine through dialogue: the user describes the task, and the agent gathers new information and clarifies it in the same way, checking the structure of input and output data before publication. No forms or programming are required. The target audience includes practice leaders and service directors. The standard is recorded once – format, escalation rules, output – and then applied automatically. Kantata refers to the removable overhead as the "tax on requests."
"In professional services, AI is not a competitive advantage but expertise," said CEO Michael Speranza. "If you are just automating processes, you are sinking, cutting costs rather than creating differentiation." CTO Vikas Nehru added that an agent that improvises is "a liability in a business where the outcome must withstand scrutiny from the client every time."
