Large XRP Holders Increase Coin Volume on Binance

Large XRP holders are transferring more coins to Binance, with the total volume reaching a seven-month high. This is happening against the backdrop of a price decline: XRP is trading around $1.30 after falling below the 100-day moving average—the orange line on the daily chart.

According to CryptoQuant, the 30-day sum of whale deposits on Binance has approached 1.6 billion XRP—close to the level at the beginning of April. At the end of July, the figure dropped to about 400 million, meaning the amount has nearly quadrupled in less than three months. The largest single day was in mid-August, when inflows sharply increased alongside XRP's rise to $1.70.

Coins on the exchange can be sold quickly. As one analyst noted, "The increase in whale inflows to centralized exchanges raises the volume of XRP available for trading, potentially increasing the risk of selling pressure." The inflow itself does not prove an imminent sale but makes it easier.

The price chart confirms this. XRP peaked around $1.66 at the end of September, then lost about 20% and fell below the 100- and 200-day lines around $1.38. Trading volume is fading, RSI is around 35—weak momentum, but not yet oversold. The nearest support is $1.28, which the current candle has already touched. Below that is the $1.00–1.05 zone.

The network looks mixed: transactions are holding around 2.4 million per day, active accounts have grown by 10%, but payments have fallen by 38%, and their volume by 52%. In other words, there are more active wallets, but less real value is passing through payments—this is a sign of trading activity rather than increased usage.

Key resistance is $1.38: above it, XRP returns above the 100- and 200-day lines. As long as the price is below, sellers have the advantage. Increased inflows with the price below $1.30 heighten the risk of a move to $1.20; cooling inflows while maintaining support will leave the recent drop as just a pause.
