Microsoft Unveils Custom Console Inside Alligator Decorative Figure

Microsoft introduced the Xbox Series X-BITE – a working Xbox Series X gaming console installed inside a decorative figure of an alligator over 1.5 meters long. The project was announced on November 3, 2026. The device is made as a one-of-a-kind item intended for a giveaway, not for serial sale.
The alligator's body is crafted with a detailed skin texture. Through the illuminated element Xbox Nexus on its body, the console itself is visible, and a special wireless controller with bite marks is placed between its jaws. The figure's eyes are styled in Xbox's signature green tones. Despite the unusual construction, the Xbox Series X installed inside remains operational. However, the company recommends viewing the item primarily as an exhibit.
The figure was crafted by John Nolan Studio, specializing in creature models and animatronics. Among its previous projects are work on creature designs for "The Witcher" and the film "Jurassic World: Dominion." For Xbox, the studio used 3D modeling, sculpture, and decorative element creation.
In the promotional announcement, Microsoft mentions Florida but does not name Grand Theft Auto VI. Such a design may be perceived as a nod to GTA 6: the game is set in the fictional state of Leonida, including Vice City, and its release is scheduled for November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. However, Microsoft has not confirmed that the X-BITE design is related to this game.
Sony and Rockstar Games have publicly announced marketing collaboration around GTA 6. However, the terms of the agreements are not disclosed, so it cannot be asserted that Microsoft is prohibited from using the game's name or that the alligator shape was chosen to circumvent such restrictions.
The Xbox Series X-BITE giveaway runs from November 3 to 10, 2026, on X, Instagram, and TikTok. It is open only to adult residents of the 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. The winner will receive the sole copy of the device. Plans for releasing a similar model for sale have not been announced.
