Morgan Stanley is approaching the $1 billion mark in its Bitcoin ETF. Following an aggressive accumulation strategy, the assets of the fund under the ticker MSBT have grown to 10,519 BTC. According to analytics firm Arkham, this Bitcoin stash is valued at approximately $903.86 million, and Morgan Stanley needs to attract less than $100 million to reach the $1 billion milestone.
The Morgan Stanley Bitcoin ETF began trading on NYSE Arca in April 2026. Since its launch, the fund has shown impressive growth, accumulating nearly $1 billion in Bitcoin in just five months, making it one of the fastest-growing Bitcoin ETFs in history. The fund continues to accumulate Bitcoin without selling assets, despite volatile market conditions.
Arkham noted that addresses associated with the fund were identified just one week after trading began. This allowed analysts to track changes in the fund's reserves. As a result, observers confirmed that Morgan Stanley has accumulated nearly $1 billion in Bitcoin over five months since its launch. At the current accumulation rate, the fund is expected to reach the $1 billion mark as early as this month, marking an important milestone for Morgan Stanley in the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF space.
