PONS on the Rise: Potential Growth to $1

The cryptocurrency PONS – the native token of the Pons application, a meme-coin launchpad on Robinhood (similar to Pump fun for the new L2) – is showing signs of growth with a potential 40% increase if its price reaches $1. The token's value is tied to the revenue and development of the platform's ecosystem. Currently, PONS is trading below $0.8, despite a recent 11% increase on Tuesday. In recent weeks, the altcoin has experienced a boom, increasing by more than 2600% (27 times) from late August to early September, after which it retraced by 46%, remaining in a key zone above $0.5.

The September retracement halted at the 50–61.8% Fibonacci level – the so-called golden zone. In most cases, these levels act as support and halt retracements, so the area above $0.5 may remain an important medium-term support. The 11% increase on Tuesday used this zone as a springboard. Additionally, PONS is forming higher lows, signaling accumulation of momentum. If the trend continues, overcoming the nearest obstacles at $0.77 and $0.85 will allow targeting $1 – this is about a 40% potential growth from current levels.

However, the ATR (Average True Range) indicator on the chart has been declining for several days. It measures volatility and, accordingly, the likelihood of a strong breakout. A flat and sluggish ATR dynamic indicates that an immediate move to $1 or higher in the short term may be challenging.

Liquidation heat maps provide a cautiously optimistic picture. Most of the liquidity for short positions is located below $0.8, while the main clusters for long positions are concentrated at $0.55, $0.60, and $0.65. This means that the likelihood of a long squeeze cannot be ruled out.
