Raven, a company focused on liquidity in prediction markets, closed a strategic round from CMCC Global and Coinbase Ventures with a pre-money valuation of $90 million. The amount of the round is undisclosed. Raven was founded by CEO Petar Kostov and CTO Yuri Mironovich, both of whom previously worked at Wintermute.
Prediction markets are rapidly evolving. In April 2026, trading volume in this sector was about $30 billion, and during the World Cup, it exceeded $50 billion in just one month – compared to approximately $44 billion for the entire year of 2025. However, the infrastructure is not keeping up with the market growth. Raven aims to assist new platforms that struggle to attract liquidity by providing support from the very beginning of their operations.
“Retail clients brought the first wave of volume to prediction markets. Institutions are bringing the second. Both groups need reliable liquidity,” – noted Petar Kostov, CEO of Raven. The company operates globally, including in the US, Asia-Pacific region, and European Economic Area countries, and currently covers more than 10 prediction markets, such as Kalshi and Polymarket.
In total, Raven has provided liquidity for more than 3,000 contracts across various categories, including sports, politics, and entertainment. According to Yuri Mironovich, CTO of Raven, “we work directly with the platforms' engineering teams.” They collaborate at all stages, including the development of APIs and SDKs, to simplify the process for other liquidity providers in the future. After the launch of new platforms, as Kostov emphasized, “the most important part of the work begins right after the launch.” Raven ensures ongoing support, staying connected even during crisis moments, such as hacking incidents. Raven is actively hiring in the fields of engineering and trading, including quantitative traders for crypto and sports prediction markets. Positions are open in Milan and Sofia.
