The real-world asset (RWA) system on the Solana blockchain reached a record value of $4.6 billion as of September 23. This amount includes a total value of tokenized assets, which stands at $4.49 billion, having increased by 11.47% over the past 30 days. Such figures indicate steady growth in the Solana ecosystem, despite fluctuations in the crypto market that could have impacted user activity.
In addition to the increase in total asset value, Solana is witnessing significant growth in the number of participants in the RWA market. As of September 23, the number of RWA holders on the platform rose to 685,850, nearly doubling the level recorded over the past 30 days. This suggests that a substantial portion of adoption occurred in September, when activity related to tokenized assets and stablecoins on the platform significantly increased. Moreover, these changes point to a growing interest in utilizing this platform among new users, which could create additional opportunities for the development and implementation of new cryptographic products.
Amid the broad expansion of tokenization in the crypto market, major companies are beginning to actively utilize Solana's infrastructure due to its speed and efficiency. Notably, Circle has become the largest platform by RWA value on the Solana network, accounting for $7.5 billion, demonstrating enormous demand for tokenized products within this ecosystem. Following Circle is Tether Holdings with a total RWA value of $3.8 billion, while BitGo rounds out the top three with $1.6 billion. This growth not only reflects an increasing trading volume but also highlights vast opportunities for further development and growth on the Solana platform, where the technological foundation creates conditions for working with real-world assets.
