US liquefied natural gas supplies are showing a steady upward trend. According to the EIA, net gas exports will grow by 18% in 2026, reaching 18.7 billion cubic feet per day.
In 2027, an additional 10% increase is expected, reaching 20.5 billion cubic feet per day. LNG exports in 2026 will average 17 billion cubic feet per day, with a subsequent 9% increase the following year.
This expansion is driven by the launch of new production capacity, including the Corpus Christi Stage 3 and Golden Pass LNG projects, as well as increased terminal utilization.
Supply disruptions from the Middle East are also contributing to this increase, increasing demand for US gas in the global market.
