XRP Recovered to $1.27 After Dropping to $1.20

Cryptocurrency XRP recovered to $1.27 after dropping to $1.20 amid a sell-off of digital assets. Over the day, the token added about 2%, and trading volume increased by nearly 30% to $1.8 billion. However, analysts do not yet consider the recovery sustainable, as the price remains below the nearest resistance level of $1.32.

The decline in XRP occurred after a major security incident at the Binance cryptocurrency exchange on October 29, 2026. According to the company's preliminary report, the attack affected digital assets worth about $6.34 billion and was accompanied by a general deterioration in sentiment in the cryptocurrency market.

After falling to $1.20, XRP returned above the $1.26 mark, which previously acted as support. At the same time, the increase in trading activity was not accompanied by a significant increase in the liquidation of short positions, which, according to FXEmpire analysts, indicates the absence of a confirmed reversal of the short-term trend.

What Levels Determine the Further Dynamics of XRP

On the four-hour chart of XRP, the relative strength index (RSI) was around 64 points. Values above 50 are usually considered in technical analysis as a sign of a prevailing positive price momentum, although they do not guarantee continued growth by themselves.

According to FXEmpire's assessment on November 3, the nearest significant resistance remains at $1.32. If XRP can consolidate above it, analysts allow for continued recovery towards $1.40.

At the same time, a repeated decline below $1.26 could lead to a test of support around $1.20. As additional potential demand zones, analysts highlight levels of $1.14 and $1.08, corresponding to price gaps on the four-hour chart.

All mentioned levels are technical analysis guidelines, not confirmed future price values.

XRP Ledger Prepares New Lending Features

Alongside the change in market dynamics, voting continues in the XRP Ledger on two amendments aimed at developing lending operations within the network.

The first initiative, XLS-65 (Single Asset Vault), provides for the creation of vaults that combine the assets of multiple users. Such vaults are expected to become the basis for other financial mechanisms, including lending.

As of November 4, the proposal was supported by 21 out of 35 trusted validators, or 60%.

The second amendment, XLS-66 (Lending Protocol), provides for the possibility of granting loans for a certain period using assets from the vaults. It was supported by 19 out of 35 validators, or about 54%.

To activate the changes, support from more than 80% of trusted validators is required for 14 consecutive days. Neither of the two amendments has yet reached the necessary majority.

The lending protocol depends on the infrastructure provided by XLS-65, so the full operation of the new features will require the approval of both changes. The timing of their possible launch remains unknown.

The development of lending capabilities may expand the ways XRP Ledger can be used, but the impact of these changes on the demand and value of XRP is not yet possible to assess. The token's near-term market dynamics will primarily depend on the overall state of the cryptocurrency market and trading activity.
