Yahoo Finance Ends Partnership with Polymarket

Yahoo Finance has ended its partnership with the prediction market Polymarket following the closure of the prediction markets hub, as reported by Bloomberg on September 18. A Yahoo representative stated, "We had a previous partnership with Polymarket to display real-time data from prediction markets on Yahoo Finance. This specific agreement has concluded, but Polymarket remains an advertising partner on Yahoo, and we are open to similar types of partnerships."

According to Bloomberg, the hub was closed in April. Polymarket became an exclusive partner of Yahoo Finance in November 2025, offering centralized access to prediction market data for economic, governmental, and market outcomes, including relevant news and analytics from Yahoo Finance and its partners. This year, Polymarket has also entered into several other partnerships. In January, the company announced an exclusive collaboration with Dow Jones, under which prediction market data will be featured on platforms such as The Wall Street Journal and MarketWatch. In March, Polymarket signed an agreement with Major League Baseball, becoming the official prediction market platform for the league.

Reports indicate that the volume of prediction markets reached $51 billion last year and is expected to be around $240 billion this year. Analysts from Bernstein predict that by 2030, the volume of prediction markets will reach $1 trillion as the industry shifts from niche betting to broader "information markets" covering sports, cryptocurrency, politics, and economics.
