France Wants to Charge €0.055 per Gigabyte from Google and Netflix
The National Assembly of France approved an amendment on internet traffic tax for French users on October 30: 11 votes in favor, 10 against. Content providers would pay €0.055 per gigabyte with a cap of 15% of revenue in France. The law still needs to pass the Senate.
