Hong Kong Prepares Banks for the Quantum Era and AI Agents
The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) has announced four initiatives in the areas of post-quantum cryptography, agent-based AI, token issuance, and cross-border payments. The projects were presented at Hong Kong FinTech Week 2026 as part of the Fintech 2030 strategy.
