German Scientists Rejuvenate Cells of 80-Year-Old by Over 60 Years
Researchers from Bonn transformed blood cells of an 80-year-old donor into neural stem cells with a molecular age younger than 20 years. The rejuvenation occurred gradually and was observed for over 100 days – after about 50 days, the age of the cells decreased by nearly 60 years. This is not a therapy for humans, but a laboratory model of aging.
