The AI agent of Crypto com continues to be in development almost eight months after its debut at the Super Bowl. In February, ai com attracted enough traffic to crash its site after placing a $15 million ad during the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl. However, months later, users are still wondering what happened to the promised AI agent.

Crypto com reports that their project to create a personal AI agent, designed to perform a wide range of tasks—from stock trading to updating profiles on dating sites—is still under development. In February, ai.com announced the launch of its AI platform with a $15 million advertisement, and the site crashed within minutes as curious users tried to reserve accounts for their own AI agents. However, nearly eight months later, the site still displays a message that the creation of AI agents is queued due to high demand.

A representative from Crypto com confirmed in a conversation with Cointelegraph that the AI agent platform is still under development: “AI.com continues to build in stealth mode; we are excited to provide more information when we fully launch it to the public.” The prolonged wait comes as competing exchanges have already begun offering AI assistants focused on more specific tasks such as trading and portfolio management. This week, Robinhood announced new AI agents in the app that can perform automated trading. In July, Kraken added AI-powered financial tools to help users identify investment opportunities and deals based on their financial goals. In June, Bitget launched its own AI assistant for crypto trading, GetAgent.
