Bitcoin Holds Level at $75,000, Price Reaches $76,362

The price of Bitcoin stabilized above $76,000 after buyers defended $75,000. At the time of writing, BTC was trading around $76,362 (+0.2%), within a range of $76,055–$76,774. The rise followed the first interest rate hike by the Fed in three years, increasing by 25 basis points to 3.75–4.00%; 16 out of 18 members expect at least one more hike by the end of 2026. The decision was already priced in by the market, helping to avoid a sharp drop during Kevin Warsh's press conference. The asset held $75,000 and is consolidating between $75,000 and $77,000.

The daily chart shows a weak position: the price is below the middle Bollinger Band at $78,028 – the first barrier. The lower band is at $75,163, and the upper band is at $80,894. The RSI is at 50.77 at a neutral level, and the moving average is at 57.62. Movement above the middle band would improve the structure, while a break below $75,000 would return control to sellers. On the 4-hour chart, selling pressure is weakening: the MACD histogram is at 23.88, the MACD line is at -353.28, and the signal line is at -377.16. Both lines are below zero. The Supertrend remains bearish at $78,596.72. The zone between $76,650 and $77,000 is the first barrier, above which is $77,300, then the Supertrend. A failure at $77,000 would leave the risk of a new test of $75,000.

CoinGlass liquidation map: a tight band at $76,800–$77,000, with a large concentration between $77,500 and $78,000, heavier at $80,000 and towards $82,000. Daan Crypto Trades identified $80K and $82K as the largest remaining clusters. Below is a tight zone at $74,700–$75,000. Analyst Lennart Sneijder considers the defense of $75,000 a reason to buy and expects short-term movement to $77,300 – a return to it would be the next bullish trigger to $78,500. Alternative support is at $74,500; losing it would bring short-term holders to their cost basis around $71,300.
