Securitize Plans to Add Stellar as the 17th Network for Tokenization

On October 28, Securitize announced plans to integrate Stellar into its tokenization infrastructure. The network will become the 17th supported blockchain platform for institutional tokenized assets; the agreement was presented at the Meridian 2026 conference in Lisbon. Specific products, partners, and completion date have not been disclosed.

The company described the agreement as a planned expansion: it does not confirm that existing Securitize funds or shares have already been transferred to Stellar. The integration is expected to allow asset managers to issue, administer, and transfer instruments via Stellar using Securitize's infrastructure. Investor admission requirements, compliance, and custodial storage will remain in place.

“We are excited to integrate the Stellar network and bring Securitize's regulated infrastructure to an ecosystem that already facilitates the adoption of tokenized financial products,” said Securitize co-founder and CEO Carlos Domingo. According to him, Stellar has developed the fourth-largest ecosystem for real-world tokenized assets. The deal's value and expected revenue contribution have not been disclosed.

The Stellar network already hosts the tokenized fund Franklin Templeton U.S. Government Money Fund: BENJI launched in 2021 and expanded to other networks. According to RedStone, the value of real-world assets on the network grew from approximately $785 million in January to over $3 billion by July. Meanwhile, Blend lending pools accepting such assets held just over $2 million: issuance growth and the adoption of decentralized lending are different metrics.

Stellar supports identity verification, transfer restrictions, and clawback for regulated products. “We are excited to work together to expand the infrastructure available to asset managers,” said Stellar Development Foundation CEO Denelle Dixon.

The agreement follows Securitize's projects on other networks: in September, KB Securities chose the company and Optimism for funds for South Korea, in October, 12 tokenized shares are operating on Solana, in August, a fund was introduced with Neuberger for Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana, and Sui. None of the agreements confirm the start of trading for the proposed products.
