Snap Signs Contracts with Nvidia, AWS, and Salesforce for AR Glasses

Snap has signed contracts with Nvidia, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Salesforce for its Specs AR glasses on Wednesday. This opens a new market for the device, which investors were skeptical about in June. Snap is targeting areas such as retail, manufacturing, and field operations. Salesforce provides its AI platform Agentforce for Specs, allowing employees to recognize objects, open tickets, and update records hands-free. AWS connects Specs with Amazon Quick, its AI assistant for work, which can show inventory levels in response to employee inquiries. Nvidia offers AI agents from its XR software that can analyze the space, extract company data, and assist employees in completing tasks.

Despite the attractive partnerships, the company did not disclose commercial details such as pilot client names or budget rates. It was reported that Snap launched Specs at a price of $2,195 in June, after which the stock fell nearly 10%. Currently, the stock price closed at $5.72, which is 30% lower than the beginning of the year. The more expensive version with the Connected Case and cellular connectivity costs $2,395, increasing costs for corporate clients. The main obstacle for Snap remains the need to scale the business  advertising brought in $5.19 billion out of total revenue of $5.93 billion in 2025.

Specs are expected to be available for sale in the US, UK, and France this fall. While the logos of partners may help Snap attract attention to budgets for 2027, only signed contracts can change the situation for the company's stock. 43 analysts tracking Snap rate the stock as 'hold', with an average target of $7.38, which is 29% above the last closing price.
