Spot exchange-traded funds on Solana in the US lost $24.8 million for the week ending October 9. This is the largest weekly outflow since its launch in October 2025, ending a 14-week series of inflows. Two weeks earlier, these funds attracted $188.2 million, the second-largest weekly inflow ever. By October 2, inflows had slowed to $2.4 million.
According to SoSoValue, the previous weekly record was $8.9 million outflow for the week ending February 6. The new outflow was almost 3 times larger. Bitcoin funds lost $681.1 million for the same week, Ethereum $542.1 million, with Ethereum experiencing its ninth consecutive day of outflows. Zcash and Hyperliquid funds also recorded outflows: $30.7 million and $9.4 million. Net assets of Solana ETFs decreased by 8.9% over the week, from $1.90 billion to $1.73 billion. The outflow accounts for only about $25 million of the $170 million drop, the rest is explained by the fall in SOL price. Over the week, the SOL rate decreased by 10.25%. At the time of publication, it was trading at $111.53, up 1.45% for the day, according to BeInCrypto Markets. The next report, covering trades up to October 16, will show whether buyers have returned.
XRP funds showed the opposite trend: they attracted $11.3 million over the week, with inflows continuing for 13 consecutive weeks. The last outflow was recorded on July 10. Purchases persisted even when XRP fell by 8.2% over the week. The cumulative net inflow into these funds reached $1.80 billion, with net assets totaling $1.57 billion. Since January 1, Solana funds have received $816.8 million, XRP funds $635.5 million, and Bitcoin $494.1 million.
