Strive Acquires 124 BTC for $10 Million

Strive, led by Matt Cole, announced the purchase of 124 bitcoins for $10 million – a week after the company's largest deal in its history. The average price was just over $80,500 per coin, and the total reserve increased to 43,124 BTC.
According to the SEC document, Strive's cash reserves decreased from $504.4 million to $490.4 million. This aligns with the company's statement: most of the purchase was funded by existing cash rather than new borrowings or the sale of other assets.
What else is in the document
Strive continues to hold 505,000 shares of STRC – preferred shares of Strategy called Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock. The company's own preferred shares increased by 3,418 to 7,003,418. SATA shares remained unchanged – just over 14 million.
Contrast with last week
The current purchase sharply contrasts with the previous one in scale. A week earlier, Strive broke its own record by completing the largest single bitcoin acquisition: 6,182 BTC for over $511 million. At that time, the amount was tens of times greater than the current $10 million, although the average price of the new purchase – just above $80,500 – remains a known figure from the document.
The total reserve of 43,124 BTC makes Strive one of the companies that publicly disclose significant bitcoin positions through SEC filings. The document does not contain bitcoin price forecasts and does not reveal how the company will finance future purchases.
