XRP Rises to $1.31 Amid Conflicting Data on Binance Reserves

On November 5, 2026, XRP rose by approximately 2%, reaching $1.31 amid the recovery of major cryptocurrencies. This growth was accompanied by reports of increased balances of large holders and changes in token volumes on exchanges. However, analytical indicators from Binance provided a mixed picture of XRP supply.
According to analyst Ali Martinez, around 01:00 UTC on November 5, approximately 13.24 million XRP were withdrawn from cryptocurrency exchanges. Over the previous week, he estimated that the balances of large holders increased by another 60 million tokens.
However, the connection between these events has not been established. Transfers from exchanges may reflect long-term storage, movement between own wallets, or other operations. Changes in balances alone do not confirm new purchases on the spot market.
Earlier, Santiment reported that the number of addresses with a balance of at least 1 million XRP reached 2,147, the highest since the beginning of 2026. Over ten days, the figure increased by 28 addresses. These data were published on November 3 and characterize the distribution of large balances rather than the number of individual investors.
Why Binance Indicators Diverge
On November 5, analyst Arab Chain reported that the XRP deficit index on Binance reached approximately 2.1, the highest level since 2022. In September and October, the indicator remained negative and then moved into positive territory.
According to the analyst's interpretation, the change in the index indicates a reduction in the supply of XRP directly available for trading on the exchange. However, the impact of such dynamics on the price depends on demand and liquidity.
At the same time, another analyst, Amr Taha, recorded an increase in the total reserves of XRP on Binance from 2.35 billion tokens on November 3 to 2.63 billion on November 5. The increase amounted to 280 million XRP, or about 11.9%.
The net flow indicator of large transfers also changed: from an outflow of 226 million XRP on October 29 to an inflow of 273 million XRP on November 4.
These movements occurred after the Binance security incident on October 29 and amid the recovery of the exchange's reserves. However, the origin of the latest inflows has not been confirmed.
The deficit index and the total reserve volume are calculated based on different principles. Therefore, their opposite dynamics do not allow for a clear judgment on the availability of XRP for trading without additional verification of the methodology and the composition of the assets considered.
At the time of publication, the nearest resistance area for XRP was around $1.34–1.35, with the next one around $1.40. Support was located in the range of $1.25–1.30, and with further decline, technical analysts highlighted the $1.20 level.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) on the daily chart was around 50.3. The MACD indicator showed an improvement in short-term dynamics, although its main lines remained below the zero mark. Thus, technical signals have not yet confirmed a sustainable trend reversal.
