XRP: large wallets hold 68.5% of supply, but price remains below $1.30

XRP struggles to hold above $1.30, although, according to Santiment data from October 27, the token's concentration among large holders has reached its highest since November 2022: wallets holding over 10 million XRP control 46.87 billion tokens – about 68.5% of the tracked supply. At the time of the report, XRP was priced at $1.30: +0.5% for the day, but −14.74% for the month. Daily volume was $1.35 billion, with a range of 1.27–1.31.

The increase in balances of the largest addresses does not mean that all categories of whales are accumulating: the number of wallets with 10–100 million XRP decreased from 351 to 339, while exchange-related balances grew. Custodial schemes and transfers between addresses affect both indicators, making it difficult to assess the share of new investments. CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost noted an increase in XRP deposits on Binance: the average monthly value of whale transfers reached $112.4 million, although inflows to exchanges do not prove sales.

On the daily chart, XRP is trading around $1.30, failing to sustain recovery above. Chaikin Money Flow rose to 0.06 and entered positive territory after negative values in October – this indicates buying pressure but does not guarantee growth. Bull Bear Power remains negative at −0.0368: sellers maintain a slight advantage. The gap indicates a recovery in capital inflow without momentum for a sustainable trend.

Support is at 1.28–1.30, then $1.20 and $1.10. Closing below $1.28 may open lower levels, while a return above $1.35 will improve prospects to $1.40 and $1.50.

Karolina calls $1.30 an important level with targets of $1.55, $2.00, $3.50, and $5.00, but the scenario depends on market capitalization growth to $23 trillion and remains speculative. Crypto With Gopal sees a possible 'inverse head and shoulders' pattern with resistance at 1.65–1.70; a breakout would support a move to $2.50, while losing the 1.00–1.10 zone would weaken the reversal. EGRAG CRYPTO considered a bearish cross of the 21-month and 33-period averages with scenarios of $1.25, $1.07, and $0.80, noting that the calculation relies on just two cycles.

Approval of Ripple National Trust Bank and the launch of tokenized Aviva shares worth £50 million did not trigger sustainable growth in XRP.
