XRP Ledger Proposes Creating Wallets with Zero XRP Balance
XRP Ledger developers are testing the SponsoredAccountCreate transaction: a sponsor covers the reserve of a new account, allowing the wallet to operate with a zero XRP balance. Currently, the network requires a minimum of 1 XRP per account. The proposal depends on changes to the sponsorship system, which have not yet been approved by validators.
