Fintech company Crux Analytics has secured $2.2 million in seed funding, bringing its total to $3.2 million. The round was led by Castle Creek Launchpad, which includes 34 local banks; also participating were Chartway Ventures, One Washington Financial, and Curql. The company was founded in 2023 by brothers Jacob and Nathan Bennett.
Small businesses account for nearly half of private employment and over 44% of GDP in the U.S., but small financial organizations lack the resources to scale client relationships. Crux replaces the traditional sales system with an execution engine, freeing employees from routine tasks.
The financial position of local banks is strong: net profit for 2025 is projected at $29.9 billion (a 22.5% increase), with a margin of 3.77%, the highest since 2018. Credit unions: net worth ratio stands at 11.24% against a threshold of 7%, with profits of $20.4 billion (a 30.5% increase). The platform provides autonomous business development workflows: client identification and prioritization, personalized outreach, and relationship monitoring. "This funding comes at a critical time," said Jacob Bennett, CEO of Crux. Jurgen van de Wyver from Castle Creek noted that Crux automates manual work, while Rob Kitts from Chartway Ventures added that it removes barriers for credit unions.
