The number of large XRP wallets reached a peak for 2026

According to Santiment, as of November 3, 2026, there were 2,147 addresses in the XRP Ledger with a balance of at least 1 million XRP. This is the highest number since the beginning of the year. The number increased by 28 addresses over ten days, with 18 of them added in the last three days of observations.

The growth in the number of large addresses coincided with the correction of XRP to the $1.20–1.27 range. Santiment analysts view this trend as a possible sign of token accumulation, but it does not in itself prove increased demand on exchanges.

What the statistics of large addresses show

Santiment considers addresses holding at least one million XRP. Inclusion of a wallet in this category does not necessarily indicate the emergence of a new investor: an existing owner might have increased their balance, transferred funds between their own accounts, or distributed assets across multiple addresses.

Large accounts may belong to exchanges and custodial services that store funds for many clients. Therefore, the number of addresses cannot be equated to the number of individual investors, and an increase in the indicator does not confirm an inflow of institutional capital.

In August, analysts observed a similar discrepancy: the number of wallets with a balance of 1 million XRP increased by 32 over three months, while the token's market capitalization decreased by 29% over the same period. This example shows that changes in the structure of large balances do not necessarily halt a price decline.

Which levels are important for XRP

According to Santiment's assessment, the nearest support area remains at $1.20–1.25. To maintain a positive scenario, analysts suggest monitoring whether the number of large addresses stays above 2,140.

A return of XRP above $1.30 and then $1.40, along with a further increase in the number of large wallets, could strengthen the case for recovery. However, even the simultaneous fulfillment of these conditions does not guarantee that the market bottom has been formed.

Additional data can help assess real accumulation: changes in the aggregate balance of large addresses, transfers to exchanges, spot trading volume, and the sustainability of demand as the price rises. Without these, the increase in the number of wallets remains an important on-chain observation but not a confirmed reversal signal.
