Uniswap attracted $82.8 million in tokenized stock deposits over the past 30 days, establishing itself as a primary platform for trading Apple and Tesla stocks without a brokerage account. The protocol controls 73% of all tokenized stock deposits on Robinhood Chain – a Layer 2 network created for tokenized real assets. The total TVL of tokenized stocks in DeFi reached approximately $192.6 million, with Uniswap accounting for nearly half of the sector's liquidity.

The main influx of funds was directed towards the deployment of V4 – $54.7 million. The older version V3 received an additional $28.1 million. As of early September, V4 led among all protocols with $59.1 million TVL in tokenized stocks, surpassing Kamino Lend on Solana with $41.7 million and Uniswap V3 with $20.9 million. V4 introduced 'hooks' – programmable plugins that allow developers to customize the behavior of liquidity pools. For tokenized securities, this means the ability to implement KYC requirements, restrict access to verified wallets, or change fee structures without abandoning a permissionless architecture.

Robinhood Chain itself was launched on July 1, 2026, as an Ethereum-compatible Layer 2 for tokenized real assets. The cumulative trading volume of Robinhood stock tokens exceeded $3 billion. Over the past 30 days, the DEX volume for tokenized stocks approached $20.9 billion, with Uniswap accounting for about 60%. Several issuers release stock tokens: Robinhood issues its own on its network, while xStocks (supported by Backed), Ondo, and AnchoredFi offer tokenized access to stocks on various blockchains, including Solana.

The regulatory landscape has also changed: around September 18, 2026, the SEC announced an Innovation Exemption for tokenized securities platforms, providing a clearer legal framework for platforms like Uniswap. The protocol prepared in advance: in June 2026, it integrated tokenized securities, including derivatives on Apple and Tesla, into its APIs and frontend applications. Meanwhile, competition is not standing still: Kamino Lend's $41.7 million TVL on Solana shows that lower transaction costs and fast confirmation make Solana an attractive alternative for high-frequency trading of tokenized stocks.
