XRP Ledger Takes Third Place in the Global Stablecoin Ranking

XRP Ledger (XRPL) has taken third place in the global ranking of blockchain platforms in terms of the growth rate of stablecoin capitalization, according to a report by the RWA Foundation. Over the past week, the net inflow of capital into XRPL‑based stablecoins amounted to $58.2 million. At the same time, as of October 22, the capitalization of XRPL stablecoins decreased by 13.19% compared to the previous week and amounted to about 999.9 million.
Update SponsoredAccountCreate
Despite the current liquidity dynamics, technical testing of the SponsoredAccountCreate update continues in the XRPL ecosystem; this update is aimed at reducing corporate costs by subsidizing fees. Thanks to this feature, companies will be able to create wallets for their clients en masse without the need to lock a starting balance of 1 XRP. However, the Sponsor amendment, on which this update depends, received only nine validator votes as of October 29, which is significantly less than the required supermajority.
Leaders of the rating
In the global ranking based on the volume of net weekly capital growth, the Arc blockchain network, launched by Circle as an infrastructure layer for automated calculations of AI agents and smart contracts, took first place. Its stablecoin volume increased by $252.2 million over the week, which is more than 2.5 times higher than the result of its closest competitor. The second position was taken by the Layer 1 Tempo payment network, developed with the participation of fintech giant Stripe and venture capital firm Paradigm, and focused on commercial calculations for sellers. It recorded capital inflow at the level of $98.2 million. The growth in indicators was driven by an influx of liquidity into the base stablecoin of the Open USD (OUSD) network.
